Arbi Haroutunian is the go-to-guy when it comes to Toronto real estate. We arrived back from Europe in mid-February with the daunting task of selling our house and finding the ideal apartment before we travelled again in early June. We met with a number of fine realtors, but Arbi had sold a nearby residence in Scarborough for a very good price. He made a very good first impression and we decided to ‘try him out’.

It couldn’t have been a better choice. Arbi is infinitely patient, receptive, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He made excellent suggestions regarding the display of our property to the maximum effect and spent hours with us in developing his sales strategy. This was later complemented by a superbly produced brochure of our house. At the same time, he brought us to see dozens of condos in the Downtown Toronto area. Our needs were “simple”: a view on nature, woods or water would do – a seemingly impossible task in Downtown Toronto. His intuitive feeling for what we wanted was fine-tuned with every condo inspection, so that when we settled on our ideal – with a view on both woods and water – he could not have been more proud and pleased. Then, within the last week in April, we had closed the sale on our house and bought our condo – a full month ahead of our deadline.

We can only reiterate how happy we are in our new home and how fortuitous our choice of Arbi was as our realtor.

In my search for a new office space, I had spoken to several real estate agents and asked for their assistance, but always ended up looking for office spaces myself.  I was interested in an office space that Arbi had listed and after a brief discussion, Arbi was able to determine that the space was not ideal for our business.  I was very appreciative that he didn’t waste my time by arranging for me to see it.  As well, Arbi took the initiative to ask if I had anyone to assist with my search. He was eager to help me find a suitable space, although he had a tight deadline and very few listings of the type and size that I required.  He immediately began a thorough search and within a week he found a unit that he thought would be acceptable.  He was right!  He promptly submitted an offer on our behalf and negotiated a great deal, which was accepted!  Thanks, Arbi, for exceptional service and finding us a space in the nick of time!
